Inaluxe New Blossom Series

Oops, another unplanned break from blogging. It is certainly not lack of inspiration that keeps me away from Kitty as a Picture for any length of time; life is chaotic and unpredictable with a baby, a toddler, work, and all of life's usual commitments and pleasures! It is wonderful to be able to get back into it with Inaluxe's new Blossom series, released today. I've been dying to see the series after a peek at Blossom 1 on Facebook a few weeks ago. The other four prints in the series don't disappoint:

Blossom 1 by Inaluxe

 Blossom 2 by Inaluxe

Blossom 3 by Inaluxe

Blossom 4 by Inaluxe

Blossom 7 by Inaluxe

Inaluxe was started by Kristina Sostarko in 2006, and is now a collaborative effort with Jason Odd joining Kristina in 2010. Kristina and Jason work out of a studio in the Grampians, Victoria, Australia. The Blossom series explores the pair's love of flora and of spring - their favourite season. Through the Inaluxe Big Cartel store you can purchase a reproduction print of the original gouache painting, mixed media collages. They are professionally printed to gallery standard on velvet matt Hahnemuhle Torchon paper, and are large (just under A2 size) with a generous wide border.
Fans of Inaluxe will be interested to know that they will be releasing fabrics later this year. I am enormously excited about this news and I'll be hanging out for that release around November. If you would like to keep up with all the Inaluxe news follow their blog, or you may prefer to follow them on Facebook or Twitter.

A huge thanks to Kristina and Jason for allowing Kitty as a Picture Illustration and Surface Design Blog permission to publish these images.
